Ways To Give
Most gifts to the TSF take this form and it is as easy as writing a check or using your MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express credit card. Checks should be made payable to the University of Missouri. Payment plan options are available.
Making a TSF gift has never been easier! Increase your contribution or get an early start on your TSF annual fund donation by setting up a payment plan (i.e. monthly, quarterly or biannually). All payment plans will be run on the 15th of every month, unless otherwise specified and must be completed by December 31st, 2014. Payment plans can be setup online through My Mizzou Account. Please contact our office at 573.882.0704 with your payment plan preference.
You may donate through will provisions, life insurance and other bequests. Estate gifts may be made by donating a designated amount, a real asset or making a residual bequest. Click here to learn about the The John & Dolly Kadlec Society.
Full-time benefit-eligible or full-time retired employees of the University of Missouri are eligible for faculty/staff credit.
Gifts of goods or services can be of great financial assistance to the Athletics Department while offering the donor a tax deduction for the fair market value of the gift. Many companies will match your contribution to the TSF. Submit your company’s matching gift form with your contribution and it can significantly increase your support and associated giving level.
IRS Matching Gift Information
It has come to our attention that per IRS Publication 526, the IRS 80/20 Rule relating to charitable contributions from which a donor receives or expects to receive benefits (the right to purchase parking passes, priority seating for events, etc.) must also be applied to the matching gift claims as well. If benefits are related to a TSF contribution, the matching claim could only be submitted for 80% of the portion of the contribution which is considered truly charitable and tax deductible. Please make note of this change when considering your TSF contribution.
Remember a friend or a loved one with memorial gifts to the TSF.
Payroll Deduction and Bankdraft Withdrawal
Please contact the TSF office if you are interested in the convenience of payroll deduction for University of Missouri employees or automatic bankdraft withdrawal to make your gift.
You may eliminate paying capital gains tax and receive an income tax charitable deduction for gifts of long-term appreciated securities. Please contact the TSF office for more information.
